"WTBD" Diaries: Age 17

I totally forgot to begin writing at the beginning of senior year sorry! Last night was homecoming and it was a bust. The DJ was terrible and played no music you could dance to. I never got the song I requested. btw : ( . On the positive side, I must have looked pretty good I got my ex, old crush, and old crush that did me wrong to notice me and got a couple of stares.

Boys are overrated, I will be waiting until college for the next boyfriend/crush hopefully (pray) lol. I could have sworn Z my old crush said "you look really good" in a whisper but when I said "what?" he said "nothing I'm just really excited" that was strange. My crush that did me wrong, B kept staring at me and was always alone without his homecoming date (oh well should've asked me). He played too many games that I just don't have time for. I'll tell my laughter all about boys when she gets my age for sure.

Hey,

So... I got asked on a date! ;) (No, not with B) G asked me! Back in the summer, in July, I met him @ my cousin's coming home party from the AirForce. Mom told me he was checking me out and my cousin L confirmed it and gave him my number. Throughout the summer we talked until I decided I had stronger feelings for B and I did not want to lead G on. That was a mistake and homecoming went by, I thought about texting G a couple of times but I didn't know if he would even want to talk to me because of what I did. However, two days ago I thought about him and he called me out of the blue.

He called to talk trash because his school was going against Sumner in football (he's a football player)but we ended up staying on the phone for 15 minutes. He told me he saw my homecoming pictures and that I "wasn't supposed to look that fine for anybody but him". I was really happy he said that because it meant he still had feelings for me. So eventually he says "Let's make a bet. If we win, we go on a date, and If you win, we go on a date". Of course, I said yes but guess what... Sumner still won ;). Either way we both won that day.

Hey,

Sorry, I haven't written in a month. A lot has happened. Firstly, I was recognized for being top 10 percent of my class as a Kansas Honor Scholar. Then, I had auditions for KMEA Higher Level State Choir and I made it, which is huge news! Two days ago I performed my last musical @ Sumner Academy, The Wiz; I played my fav character Evillene for three shows. I have gotten nothing but accomplishments, however, something not-so-good has happened and I don't really know how to feel...

Remember G? Well for a minute it seemed like he was ignoring me (10 days) then all of a sudden he texts me. He let our date day go by without a single word too! Of course I needed an explanation. He tells me to call him and I do (This is on Thursday before Opening night). He tells me he has a crazy ex that lied and said he choked her so he was arrested at school and the court say what really happened on tape (her choking him) and he got a restraining order against her...

Ok...

But what does that have to do with the fact that you ignored me for 10 days and missed the date...

So it's been weird trying to talk to him lately, and I might not continue things are looking bad.
